About me

My name is Lukas Eppler and I am a physicist from Zurich, Switzerland. I’m working at Simplificator, a company I founded three years ago with Pascal Betz.

The mayor reason I have to write this blog is that I find there are a lot of good ideas out there which never get public. Many people seem to think that keeping their own ideas to themselves could be advantageous in the future – maybe they can found a little company or get a patent or whatnot. I felt the same. The error is that I rarely had a chance to do anything with those ideas. So many ideas go unnoticed because the good chances to do anything with them passes too fast, the window of opportunity closes and that’s that.

By publishing those ideas in this blog they might still go unnoticed. But maybe someone stumbles across here and sees a chance for them to become real. Or at least to be proven unrealistic.
